5W30 Longlife 3 Motoröl. Derzeit ist die aktuelle Norm das sogenannte Longlife 3-Motoröl. Es hat das vorherige Longlife 2 abgelöst. Im Prinzip kann man nur noch das Longlife 3 verwenden, da es automatisch die Anforderungen für Longlife 2 mit einschließt.
Sind alle 5W 30 gleich?
Die Bezeichnung „5W30“ gibt die Viskosität, also das Fließverhalten des Öls an. Allein diese Angabe sagt aber noch nichts darüber aus, für welches Fahrzeug das Öl geeignet ist. Entscheidend bei der Frage zur Eignung eines Öls für ein Fahrzeug ist daher immer die Herstellerfreigabe.
