Was ist ein Uterus Septum?
Der Uterus septus ist eine Fehlbildung der Gebärmutter, bei der eine Teilung des Cavum uteri (Uterushöhle) in zwei Hälften vorliegt. Die äußere Form des Gebärmutterkörpers ist dabei nicht verändert.
Kann man trotz Uterus septus schwanger werden?
Sie entstehen fast immer durch eine inkomplette Verschmelzung der Müllerschen Gänge und/oder ein unvollständiges Verschwinden des Trennhäutchens (Septum). Frauen mit angeborenen Uterusanomalien müssen keine Beschwerden haben. Sie können durchaus spontan schwanger werden und ein Kind komplikationslos gebären.

Septum piercings can come in all sizes ranging from 14g to 1″, though 14ga is considered the minimum size. In larger sizes a „septum keeper“ or „bullet plug“ are both used for comfort.
