Was sind Plasmaersatzmittel?
Plasmaersatzmittel sind kolloidale Lösungen, deren onkotischer Druck dem des menschlichen Blutplasmas entspricht. Sie werden hauptsächlich per Infusion zur Volumensubstitution eingesetzt. Bei Lösungen mit höherem onkotischen Druck (hyperonkotisch) spricht man von einem Plasmaexpandern.
Was ist Volumenexpander?
Man unterscheidet Volumenexpander (Flüssigkeiten, die das noch vorhandene Restblut verdünnen und soweit ergänzen, dass der Blutkreislauf wieder funktionieren kann), die selbst keine physiologische Funktion des Blutes übernehmen können, und Blutersatzmittel im engeren Sinn.
Was sind Volumenersatzmittel?
Sie werden bevorzugt eingesetzt, um interstitielle Volumendefizite auszugleichen. Kolloidale Lösungen sind beispielsweise Gelatinelösungen oder auch Humanalbuminlösungen. Sie sind osmotisch aktiv und ziehen Flüssigkeit aus dem Extravasalraum in den Intravasalraum (Plasmaexpander).
