Was sind Urinstix?
Die Urinuntersuchung mittels Urinteststreifen ist ein einfaches, außerhalb des Labors durchführbares Testverfahren, mit welchem der semiquantitative und qualitative Nachweis einer Veränderung der Urinzusammensetzung möglich ist.

Wie funktioniert ein Urinstreifen?
Dabei wird ein Teststreifen, auf dem sich kleine quadratische Farbfelder befinden, ein paar Sekunden in den Urin eingetaucht. Anschließend muss man etwas warten, bis sich das Ergebnis zeigt. Je nachdem, in welcher Konzentration die jeweilige Substanz vorhanden ist, verfärben sich die Felder des Teststreifens.
