Thor gelingt es, die Midgardschlange zu besiegen. Kaum ist er neun Schritte von der Schlange weggegangen, stirbt er an ihrem Gift. Odin tritt gegen den Fenriswolf an, der ihn verschlingt. Odins Sohn Vidar rächt den Vater.
Welcher Riese ist Saxa?
Auch wenn es in der Serie nie offiziell bestätigt wurde, ist es offensichtlich, dass Saxa der Riesin Jarnsaxa aus der Mythologie nachempfunden wurde. Auch wenn Thor und die Riesin nach der Geschichte Feinde gewesen sein sollen, war Jarnsaxa zugleich auch die Liebhaberin Thors.

Wird es eine Staffel 3 von Ragnarök geben?
Januar 2020 auf Netflix Premiere, Staffel 2 folgte am 27. Mai 2021. Zwar bestätigte Netflix Nordic, dass die Serie um Magne nun endlich fortgesetzt wird, einen festen Starttermin gibt es allerdings noch nicht. Dementsprechend könnte uns „Ragnarök“ Staffel 3 Mitte/Ende 2022 erwarten.
